Marigold / Our Story
It started because I hated the gym.
I spent years feeling like movement wasn't for people like me: too slow, too self-conscious, too tired after work.
Then a friend dragged me to a tiny class in someone's living room. No mirrors. No one performing. Just a warm room and people being kind to their bodies. I cried a little. Then I signed up for the week.
Marigold is my attempt to bottle that feeling and leave the door open. It's the studio I wish I'd found ten years ago, and if you've ever felt like you're "not a movement person," it's especially for you.

A few things we hold onto.
Bodies aren't projects
You're not here to fix yourself. You're here to feel a little better than when you walked in.
Everyone's a beginner
The most advanced person in the room is usually the kindest one. We keep it that way on purpose.
Community over perfection
We'd rather you come as you are twice a week than show up "perfect" once a year.
Saturday morning. Our favorite hour of the week.
Come see if it's your kind of place.
The first week's free. Worst case, you get a warm hour and a cup of tea.
